Model: SYSTEM OVERVIEW
CyberLock cylinders are electronic versions of standard mechanical lock cylinders.
CyberLock cylinders are electronic versions of standard mechanical lock cylinders. Installation of a CyberLock cylinder involves the simple, two-step process of removing the already in place mechanical cylinder and replacing it with the CyberLock cylinder. It’s virtually effortless because it involves no wiring and no battery maintenance. This means you can easily install CyberLocks anywhere—in doorways, padlocks, and cabinets. CyberLocks will work to secure nearly every part of your facility. The locks and keys also keep track of exactly where they’ve been and how many times they’ve been used. Every time a key is used to open a lock is recorded, meaning you’ll know who opened what locks and when they did it. The information is stored electronically and sent directly to your computer. You can keep track of your lock use in real-time, or keep a log to ensure that keys and locks are being used properly and on a consistent basis the way you intended them to be used. |
